Club Fitting Guide
Club fitting is now a very important part of the game these days with the right fitted equipment helping you to play and enjoy better golf, below i will explain what happens when you come in for a club fitting and what are the benefits... When you arrive we discuss what you want to trial and where you are looking for improvements, within the game and with nequipment now you can look at been fitted throughout the bag from Driver to Putter or just one specific area... 1) Player warms up 2) Hits his/her own clubs that they want to hopefully change ( this gives me an insight to what is happening with the current club/clubs) 3) I then build up a couple of club options, the customer may have a brand in mind but i would try a couple of different price options 4) We measure all options using the fitting software on the GC Quad and FSX Pro software (this will determine if we have found something thats going to improve your game) 5) If we are looking at new irons we move on to using the strike board to help get the correct lie, the lie is critical on what happens to the players ball flight and shape 6) We then look a little more then into different shafts working out which shaft is the most consistent on flight and distance control (so many different weights and flex options in shafts) 7) Hopefully we will have found a club/clubs that is proving stronger than what you use!!! 8) We then discuss price options and building a demo club that you can trial on the course, this just helps to reassure that this is going to be a better investment (you dont get this service at American golf or online!!) One thing to remember is that we are all different and with this fantastic equipment and technology we can build our own personalised golf equipment that will help you play and enjoy better golf... If you want to book a fitting experience get in touch, I'm sure there will be something to change within the golf bag which will improve your game... |
