Shop changes and course developments As I said last week with the help of my dad, we have redecorated and changed the shop around to help you see more when you walk in the shop, not easy in a shop the size of a garage, but hopefully some of you will notice the changes! I have also set-up a new till system which at present is taking some time to set-up but hopefully all fully running for when we get back open. On the course some changes too! Danny, with the help of Dave Whitaker, has put some new drainage in to help the walkway to the bridge on the 9th and then on the 7th hole they have removed all the gorse bushes so we can now see the front bunkers and the hole is far easier and from having a walk up there it's a totally different hole. I know the next work is to bulid up the back of the 7th tee, great work guys! Thanks also goes to Gary Shaw for letting the green staff use his digger, dropping off and collecting in times when he himself is busy working. Around the clubhouse our Vice Captain Steve with the help of a few volunteers have taken down the practice net and re-positioned at the side of the Greenkeepers' entrance, eventually we will have a better facility to warm up in, well done Steve and gang. |
