Competition news

The magic is paying off

Due to storm Ciara, the club fourball was only played on Saturday and again, there was some outrageous scoring.

Winning Division 1 with 49 points were Ian Booth and Greg Dixon. Ian even managed three twos in the round, and clearly my magic rubbed off on Greg after his lesson on Wednesday night, 13 under par incredible! Over the whole day, there were 5 pairs with 45 points who won nothing.

In second place was Stewart Horner and Dave Crossland with 47 points. Well done guys, great effort but just not good enough this time.

Division 2 was won by Mick Foster and John Senior, we won’t need this result to go in the local papers I’m guessing that 99% of Batley will already know. Batley News and Batley Twitter had 46 points beating Chris Wilson and Dave Floyd on the better back nine...

Well done to all!
