Club news

Junior team

Well done to George Harris, Alex Croft, Jamie Baker and Isaac Murray on reaching the final of the Halifax/Huddersfield Play-Offs. Unfortunately they lost in the final to Fixby, a great effort from the lads, with such a young team the future is looking good for the Juniors and the club in the next few years to come. Thanks to all members and parents who came to support the lads!

Well done to Scot Minto, another great week finishing top 20 in the Yorkshire Amateur and then on Monday went on to win the Sir Norman Rae Classic at Northcliffe Golf Club with scores of 74-66, great golf!

Club events

Charity race night

On Saturday, 9 September we are holding a Golfer-non Golfer teeing off at 4-30pm, then followed by a Charity Race Night, all proceeds will be split between the Junior Golf section and Friends in Deed, please if possible come and enjoy both events and thank you so far to members who have sponsored a race or a horse, please contact myself or Steve Farrar to find out more.

  • Tuesday, 5 September Seniors Open still a few tee time slots available, £15 per pair to enter..
  • Friday, 15 September Clarks Brewery Am-Am £40 per four person team includes Bacon Sandwich and a free pint after play.
