Captain's Trip Weekend

Last weekend was the Captain's Trip to Seaton Carew Golf Club with glorious weather and the course was in fantastic condition. The weekend was very well-organised and all had a great time. A big thank you to Mo our Captain for organising a great event. Turning to the competition, it was Ian Sidebottom and Matty Glynn who won the Fred Ellis Shield. Congratulations to you both.

On Saturday evening, during the dinner, the Captain for 2019 was announced. Congratulations to Chris Fletcher who accepted the role. Good luck in the future.



 
US Open Sweepstake

With the conclusion of the US Open on Sunday, so did our sweepstake. I hope you all enjoyed following your players throughout the tounrnament - some of you more than others - and you won't have long to wait before we do it all agian for The Open in little over 3 week's time. 

Congratualtions to B. Pearson (R.Fowler, L.Oosthuizen, M.Leishman), L. Windsor (R.Fowler, L.Oosthuizen, M.Leishman) and T. Hill (R.Fowler, L.Oosthuizen, M.Leishman) who all tied at the top with 60pts, each winning £60.
