Invitation Weekend

Another busy and well supported weekend, unfortunately the rain on Saturday morning and the strong winds on Sunday made the scoring tough apart from one pairing who produced an awesome score of 49 points, which finished six points clear of second place.

Thank you to Mr Captain, Mr President and Mr Rabbits Captain and his grandson Lewis for starting all the groups off over the weekend. 

Thanks to Gemma and her bar staff, Sonia for doing all of the catering requirements over the weekend, and to Danny and Simon the Green Staff who presented the course in great condition and the feedback from the guests was very positive.

Captains' Trip To Seaton

The Captains' trip to Seaton Carew Golf Club is this weekend. I hope that all the members that are going have a great trip and best wishes to Mo Coe the Club Captain on his weekend.

Well Done Jacob

Congratulations to Jacob Scargill, who has qualified for the final of the English Golf Union Gold Medal Championship, he now represents Hanging Heaton at Woodhall Spa later in the season.

 

Team News

Well done to the junior team who are two points clear in the league. They're currently halfway through the season and hopefully they will qualify to the playoffs. 

 

Golfer - Non Golfer

On Saturday, 15 July sees the starting of the 'Golfer-Non Golf' which is from 5pm. The cost is £5 per pair and all the funds will go to the junior section. I'll keep you informed over the next few weeks.
